(Snow geese, Canada geese, Ducks)

Lili le labrador rapportant le gibier

An unforgettable & unique hunting experience in association with Destination Le Mirage Outfitter, recognized as being the most important supplier of guided migratory birds hunting’s products & packages in Quebec.

Seasons and areas:

Fall : Center of Quebec area
Spring : Côte de Beaupré area, Cap-Tourmente

Collected species:

  • Snow geese
  • Canada geese
  • Ducks

For the last fifteen years, the widening of the migration corridor of Snow geese and the increase of Canada geese population in the center of Quebec has made the latter, one of the principal migratory halts in Quebec.

From its geographical location and the quantity of game gathering there in the fall, the Bois-Francs area has become a prime destination for the waterfowl lovers. In proximity of very large bodies of water, which at times can receive herds estimated at more than 180,000 birds! Also cultivated fields that provide food to support the extended stop of migrating birds is another element of our excellent success rates. Whether in the field, hidden in low profile cover or 'blind pit’, or on the lake in wading cover or calloused, everything will meet the highest quality hunting standards of this area.

The conservation’s spring hunting of Great Snow Geese

Introduced a few years ago, the Snow geese spring hunting offers a great challenge and remains an excellent opportunity to improve the hunter’s skill against this more and more educated game. Practiced exclusively in agricultural areas, this activity takes place in April, in the Côte de Beaupré area and in the town of Château-Richer.

The activities carried out in the Center-of-Quebec area (zone 6 north and 7 south) are operated under the license of “Destination Le Mirage Outfitter”. Falls Gully Outfitter and Destination Le Mirage Outfitter are associated operators.
